Well this is the start of my blog, for those not familiar with blogs it is a means of sharing your thoughts, your feelings, and photo's of your family, yourself, your loved ones, for anyone who cares to look at them can, and who knows they can maybe add a comment or two and it is a never ending story.
The purpose of my blog is to share with both sides of my family, my fathers side The Parsons, and also my mothers side The Carpenters. Over the years i know that both parties have crossed paths, which are usually at funerals or weddings. not always a good combination too running into family members so i hope starting this blog that we can share stories and photo's of our families and what is going on in our lives and have some fun with this and rekindle some old memories and bring us all up to speed what is going on in our busy lives.
So having said this i will post this and then send it out too family members who's email i do have and have them pass it along to other members who have access to internet and also have an interest in this beginning.
So i hope to see you soon, and read your comments over a period of days and weeks.

Ok this is my second posting, as you can see i am testing this thing out to see how the comments will come in, i guess i will just have to wait until someone makes a comment back to me and how i view it.

I will be your first comment. I think this is a great idea. It may allow us to keep in touch with family members we don't get to see often. I hope that many family members participate.
We'd like to take this oportunity to say hi to everyone. In the upcoming week I will post a family picture as we are attending a family wedding and should be able to pose for at least one.

Rod & Leane Carpenter
My first visitor to my blog is Leane Carpenter, who is my cousin Rod's wife. It does not surprise me that leane was my first visitor, I know that leane in the past has been involved with attempting a family tree, Tracing family roots has always interested me, as some of you may be aware i was on a mission of my own to find a brother of mine who was given up for adoption at birth. But that is a whole story in itself and i am sure will be mentioned again. I look forward to seeing posting of all our family's and there children on this site.
Please make sure you pass this site address onto other family members so they can enjoy all the comments and pictures also. Now we just need to find one of the parsons side to come out of hiding and get them involved with this. Time will tell...
This will certainly be better to keep a handle on what's going on in the extended family life cycle. As soom of you may already be aware, we have a big event tomorrow with the wedding of our daughter Stacey. She is marrying a Chad James from N.F. We should have some great pics to share next week. This was a great idea Mike. See you at the wedding.
